Services
Sarah Ponden Interiors is a full-service interior design firm. Projects range in size from new home construction to single-room revamps.
The design process typically includes these phases:
Client and designer meet to discuss ideas, goals, and expectations in order to develop a plan and budget for the space(s) to be designed.
Drawings and layouts are created and reviewed.
All necessary elements (furnishings, upholstery, carpets, window treatments, fabrics, lighting, artwork, etc.) are sourced by the designer and presented to the client.
The client and designer address any alternates needed to finalize the design plan.
Upon receiving client approval on items and services, invoices are generated, and the client will be asked for payment
The designer monitors the progress of the project, tracking all orders, meeting with workrooms, handling any further details, and corresponding with vendors and subcontractors.
Deliveries are coordinated by the designer, and a third-party receiving warehouse is introduced if needed.
The designer is on site to oversee the unloading and setup as needed
Last touches, such as art and accessories, are installed by the designer for the client’s approval.
Other steps may include the following:
Coordinate with architect, contractor, and/or custom fabricators
Provide specifications for finishes, lighting, hardware, and paint
Draft floor plans and interior elevations
